Whenever I say that I can organize events and tours in and around the Colli Euganei , I see ’question marks’... who, what, where are those Colli Euganei?
The Colli Euganei, or Euganian hills, is an area in Italy, located South West of Padua, in the Veneto region. It is an area of volcanic origin that covers a surface of approximately 350 km² with the Monte Venda mountain (603 m) being the highest of all the Colli. The hills are rich of thermal and mineral springs and the fertility of the soil promotes the growth of very diverse and special vegetation. The Spa tourism (in Abano Terme and Montegrotto Terme) goes back to Roman times.
Nowadays you can still ‘cure’ here, but there has been a much broader offer for tourists over the recent years. It is a lovely and cozy area from which you can easily visit a number of very interesting cities (such as Padova, Vicenza, Verona and obviously Venezia) but also go to the beach or to the Dolomites which you can reach by a one and a half hour's drive from the Colli.
For me lots of reasons to buy a small ‘seconda casa’ here in 2017. Since then I have got to know the area and the people even better and started with i Miei Colli:
